John,
I installed the traditional 4 rad in my 63 just finished last year. Lot less
clutter and one less thing to spring a leak as Randall mentioned.
I have long neck rads but I will use them on the 3 when necessary.
I can send you a pic to give you an idea of what it looks like installed.
