I currently have the transmission out but the flywheel and clutch are
 installed.  Can anyone think of a reason that you cannot bolt the
 starter onto the engine backplate with some shims and start the engine with
 the transmission out of the car?   I want to test the rear oil seal I
 installed to make sure its not leaking before I install the gearbox.
