BTW how tight should the lower trunion be attached to the upper?

Are you asking about the trunnion to the vertical link? If so, not tight at
all. Recommended setting can be found in the workshop manuals.

The locking washer goes collar in and cuts a "spline" as it is tightened in.
You should be able to tap the lower arms outward and it comes apart. The
inner and outer need to come off evenly or they will bind one against the
other. On reassembly pay attention to the tightness of the castellated nut.
This nut wants to be backed off and the lower arm tapped outward so that there
is resulting play in the joint. Look it up in the workshop manual. Not doing
this will result in a tight fast wearing suspension.
