On reading the subject line, you may jump to the conclusion that I want a
Triumph wood dash badly, but that I am grammatically constrained. Let me
clarify. I want a bad Triumph wood dash.
Next you'll probably decry my lack of specificity. After all, what model
Triumph will I put it on, right? Nope. I'd prefer TR4/4A, TR 250, TR6 or GT6,
but I'm not too picky in that regard. What I want is one or more complete
Triumph wood dashes in sorry condition, but complete with all pieces (dash and
glove box door for TR4/4A, TR 260, TR6; the three pieces for a GT6 set up).
Why, you may rightly ask? I'm trying my hand at veneer and restoration after
a moderately successful job on my TR4. I enjoyed the work, it came out
reasonably well, and I have a pile of cheaply obtained exotic veneers in
various
grains. Basically, I'm looking for a winter project or two.
If you have a wood dash in sad shape and don't want too much for it, let me
know. I'm willing to pay a pittance or so + shipping.
