I am rebuilding the fuel pump in my 58 TR3.
The service manual states that the diaphragm tab should be facing the engine
during insertion and a quarter turn to the right after installation.
Using the Moss rebuild kit the rod key does not line up with the link lever
unless it is rotated 1/4 turn to the left of center and locks in place at 1/4
turn to right.This is assuming that the key should be 90 degrees from the
slot in the link lever. Is this a change in the diaphragm or is there
something
I am missing ?
