 True; Edison was pretty smart. On the other hand, he "lost" the battle of DC 
v. AC electrical power for powering and lighting homes and businesses to George 
Westinghouse and friends. Would Edison's DC power have been better? I dunno; 
was Beta really better than VHS? Triumph better than MG? :-)
