Hi Folks
A friend of mine has a Spitfire with a propshaft problem, the shaft is one
with a CV joint on, the joint has gone bad and she has been told that you
cannot fit the sliding spline or strap drive shaft in place of the CV joint
type. Do any of you know if this is correct or is it mis-information? We can
get either sort (not the strap drive as that is unobtainable for the
foreseeable future) and it seemed that the type with the spline would be
more future proof as it is possible to replace the UJ's!
As usual any and all help will be gratefully received.
