I'd agree with Randall:

Perhaps you can be forgiven for adding an extra 0 :) Torque figure would
have been more interesting and representative of factory data if it had been
taken at the max torque rpm 0f 3350 instead of this blasted red line
fixation which everyone seems to have. If my memory correctly serves, this
should be 127ftlbs - or thereabouts? My product knowledge is slipping a bit
after 44 years :)

Exactly Randall. That's *almost* how they were done, though only without the
fan - in order to give the 'best' figure. Water pump and dynamo fully in
place and working.

If it's only doing a quart per 2000 (Imperial or US measurements) this is
further cause for celebration. FWIW, the factory data for oil consumption
intentionally erred on the very pessimistic side. My TR4A of years ago had
had a cruel first owner who had flogged it unmercifully. It still only
consumed oil at 1 Imp pint per 1000 miles. As they say in Oz - "No worries"

Agree totally. If it ain't broke, don't fix it. Nowt wrong with this 'un
from the description so drive it as hard as you like. It'' probably do it a
lot of good.
