The liners are now out. An 8" X 1" aluminum rod was used as the persuasive
drift, and a 1/2" X 8" brass for the "fine" work. It did take some persuasion
with a BFH to get them to move, but once moved they came out easy. The figure 8
gasket was copper. I cannot find any markings on the liners to determine the
vintage. The pistons are also at the time too carboned to determine. Where
might I find any markings?
Thanks for the advice, as many have said before, I couldn't have done it
without the list.
