Yes. Should be very obvious, it's a big (like 3" or 4") brass plug on the
very bottom of the OD. Your car will probably have the one with "teeth"
around the outer edge, but earlier TR units had a hex head cast into the
plug. It's best to have a special wrench to grab the teeth, but lots of
people "get by" using a drift and hammer. Harbor Freight used to offer a
suitable wrench, but it's hard to find on their website and I don't have the
P/N handy.

The filter screen is on top of the big brass plug. Yours should be the kind
that falls out when you remove the plug, but earlier ones had a small bolt
in the center that has to be removed. If you've got the bolt, be sure to
keep track of the spacer inside the screen. Some units also have magnets
between the screen and plug, that should be cleaned (or replaced if they've
started to come apart).

Castrol makes at least two kinds of gear oil, "Hypoy C" and "SYNTEC". In
addition "Hypoy C" is available in several different viscosities. No idea
how many of those Pep Boys carries though.
