The Ace Hardware by my house does.  They carry UNC in grade 2 and grade 8 and 
UNF in grade 5.  For fitting purposes any will do.  They also carry jam nuts 
and other specialty nuts in both.

Also notice that I said "hardware" store and not Home Defect.
