Oh, this is going to be a good one! The spec according to Bentley is no
more than .004 on any lobe (thats 4 x 5 =20 measurements on the lobes
alone). I went through 3 new pumps and not one of them was in spec. ! To
make a long story short I bought a rebuild kit, threw all the parts from
the previous pumps on the table and was able to assemble one that was
barely within spec and used that. Good Luck! The pump is assembled with
no gaskets and light on the torque for the mounts (i believe it's about
10-12lbs.).
