According to Spitfire and GT6 websites, there is an Isuzu Trooper starter
which fits Spitfire/GT6. Given the fact that the GT6 and TR250 share the
same Lucas starter, it probably fits that model as well. Don't know about
your '4.

Anyone know if there is a cheaper way to go for a gear reduction starter
for the TR4? When dealing with the A series Spridget engine, a 70's model
Isuzu Trooper bolts up with a little modification. Anything like this
available for the TRs? Not trying to stiff Moss or TRF, but the Isuzu
starter is about half the price of the Moss gear reduction starter for the A
series.
