Do I need a booster seat? To be even quasi-legal, I believe you need to add belts & use booster seats; or wait until the kids turn 6. AFAIK, there is no exception to the booster seat law for old cars. And since Arnold seems to think we should all scrap our old cars and buy new Hummers, I doubt that will change any time soon.
