This is the second reference to brazing being done with brass. No so, it's
bronze.

Subject: brazing
well, here is my $.02 brazing is usually done with brass or similiar
alloy.flux is need to get the metal to flow properly and the biggest problem
is getting the flux cleaned from the finished product. i think that the new
water soluable fluxes are better, but the powdered flux will work it's way
up through any type of finish. i've always found that a good brazed joint is
much harder to do than welding. a bad brazing job can be done by almost
anyone with a torch and very little patience
