I am replacing the seals on my brake master cylinder as I had developed a
lead from the connection point to the servo ('70 TR6). I got everything
separated fine and drained the fluid. When I went to remove the tipping
valve, it would not come out after pushing in the plunger to allow the valve
to right itself, as the Bentley instructs. What I think needs to occur is
that the tipping valve securing nut must first be removed. Is this just too
obvious and the Bentley neglected to mention this? It appears to require a
1/2 Allen wrench.
