I have not used a Pertronix, but I have about 12 years of experience
with Allison, now Crane Cams, electronic ignitions that I put on a
Migit & an MGB. Ten of those twelve were in Florida with the
constant rain & moisture.
Both were used by my children when they were in high school &
college. My daughter drove the MGB for many years and late into the
night all without any problems.
