Yup.  It's easy and it doesn't hurt anything.  If it doesn't break it loose
then you have to start worrying about techniques to break it loose that
will endanger either car or driver.

This is common in cars that sit a long time without being driven.  The
current theory is that a very thin layer of rust from the flywheel (or
pressure plate) locks to the clutch disk.  Frequent use of the car will
prevent this from occuring.  Same thing can happen with brakes.
