Darn! I just discovered one of the mounting points for the trailing arms on
my TR6 is rotted. The other points look OK.
I'm looking for advice on how to proceed. I was ready to replace the
bushings and put in new springs and a tube shock conversion. I've got the
parts and am ready to install. I don't have the tools or the skills to do
the repair myself. Since repair is likely to involve removal of the trailing
arms, I'm guessing my best bet is to take the parts up to a frame specialist
and have them repair the frame and install them. Any other ideas?
Thanks,
Hugh Fader
