Guys, I have a D type and it seems to have a mind of its own.. I will
engaging all by it's self, with out the switch.. Any ideas? 

One thought I had was that the adjustment nut was turned in to far..

My guess is that somewhere in the control circuit, you have a short
causing the solenoid to engage when the wire contacts ground.
