Listers,
I will be sand blasting my "original" steel wheels in preparation for
painting them in a few days. I plan on powder coating them the silver/gray
color that seems to be what they originally were painted, at least those
that weren't body color.
Can anyone tell me where I can start in choosing a good color to use. What I
would really like to tell the powder coat guy "coat these wheels '78 Pontiac
Mountain Silver" or some such marketing inspired name! And have them come
out just perfect!!
I have heard that Argent Silver (available from Eastwood) is about right.
But I am not sure if that color is right! Does anyone "really" know? The
spray cans from Eastwood sold as "Wire Wheel Silver" are a little too
metallic for my taste.
Fred Thomas, PC Guru! Do you have any advice or input regarding this color
issue??
TIA,
