Hello List:
I have access to an early (TR2) trans & overdrive unit that has been
sitting for the last 40 years. The trans/od was working well when it was
taken out of the car - has about 40K on it. It would be a very nice fit for
my TR2.
Wondering what the advice is on what to do with the OD unit? As it was
working and the former owner attests to it's condition, change the fluid
and try it? Take it apart to have a look? It does appear to have been
leaking from the usual spots. Replace gaskets?
