Guys

Can any of you point me to a particular website or fountain of knowledge?
Don't seem able to find it myself.
I drew the short straw recently in being the commentator today for a local car
show - which of course turned out to be a lot of fun - hailstorms
notwithstanding. Just a typical British summer Sunday!
Anyway, there I was in full chunter about whatever - and there was this
'noise' behind me. For an instant, I thought it might be a C130 Transport
coming in to land!! On turning, it was quite the most monstrous thing I've
ever seen called a LA FRANCE and ISTR the badge on the radiator proclaimed its
origin as New York. It was C_O_L_L_O_S_S_A_L and not unlike Chitty Chitty
Bang Bang - but about 50% longer, wider, higher, noisier.
Now I know you guys in North America like 'to think big' but honestly chaps,
isn't this taking things a bit too far? What fascinated me were the rear
driving chains - they must have been about 2 ins wide. I never got the chance
to get this 'beast' into the main ring to interview the owner and I'd really
like to know more. Can anyone help / suggest an info source - off-list
please?

Jonmac
