finally got everything to replace the front rotors and bearings on the 7. so
i handed the bucket of wheel bearing grease to my daughter and asked her to
put it in the microwave on 5 minutes low setting and watch it. so much easier
to repack when it's soft. while i was in the garage removing all the
hardware, she put the grease tub in a zip loc bag, zipped it, put it in the
micro on high for 5 mins. 5 mins later 'daddy come quick !!!!'. there's the
bucket completely melted on the bottom in the micro. lucky me, it's one of
those rotating base plates that lifts out. quick, into the garage to remove
it all and remove the melted plastic via razor blade. shhh, don't tell mom,
don't want to ruin mothers day or my health for that matter ! larry
