>well I finnaly got her running sorta. She smokes. and I am not talking
about
just a little warm up smokes. I now call her my james bond car. But boy
does
she run. I would thus assume I need a major head job. Is this really
practiacl or is It in just better to v8 converter to that buick motor.
Also
anyone ever done one. Do you really need to kit it or is it possable to do
it
without
<

Chris, does it smoke more under acceleration? If so, then it is most
likely rings. Has the car sat a long time idle? If so then the rings may
merely be stuck in the grooves in the piston (it only takes one) and will
eventually break free and start to seal up and the smoking will diminish.
So, just run it for a while and see what happens.

Dave
