I've been working on my GT6+ for the past five winters using a small ceramic
heater (electric) to warm me as I work. It blows directly on me to keep off
the cold and if I'm working for an hour or more it actually makes the room
comfortable. The cost is low and if I think ahead I can warm up the garage if
I let it run for a half hour before going out to work.
This year I solved the problem by moving the chassis and body to the
basement! Thank goodness for a walk out basement with French Doors!!! This
winter I 'll be workin' in style- 72 dgrees, plenty of space and a warm
floor.
I have enough room to put the body, chassis and nose side by side an still
have room left to walk around each part.
It was my significant other's idea. She wanted the Forester and the Insight
in the garage and out of the weather! Gos bless her!
