I never read that before for Sus, at least for a TR3, that is exactly
the instructions when filing the damper oil for ZS carbs on my
'70 TR6.
Now you've got me really confused! ;-)
BTW, I have the oil to the top of the inner tube, which is more than a
1/2" from the top, but certainly more than the old 1/4" trick.
