Hi,
I'm new to this list so let me know if I've broken any protocalls.

On the subject of color and value... I am just starting the restoration of a
59 TR3A. The car has been stripped down to bare metal everywhere. I don't
know the original color. I intend to keep this car indefinately, and am not
too concerned about showing it formally. I don't see any dark blues for a
TR3A and am thinking of making it a 75 Jaguar Ocean blue (It is a solid, not
metallic color). I had a 64 E-type years ago I painted that color and loved
it.

Any thoughts on going with a non-original color as far as value/
acceptablility with my peers goes? Any one know of pictures of dark blue
TR3s on the web? Any pictures of the 58 Winchester blue available? Any other
more original alternatives?

Thanks,
Curt
