Some TR6s were wired from the factory so they wouldn't start unless your
seat belts were fastened. The seat belt timer/lockout module is hidden
behind the glove box. There is a big round connector with a bunch of wires
going into it. On my car (1974 1/2 TR6) I disabled the lockout by shorting
together WR (white wire with red stripe) and WO (white wire with orange
stripe). To kill the buzzer just pull the round plug out.
Triumph used a few different seat belt schemes so your car might be different.
Dan Masters' book on the TR6 electrical system covers the differences in
detail.
