Please, does anyone have a TR2/3 engine they are parting out that has the
distributor drive gear?? I ruined a brand new cam and broke the distributor
gear on my engine. I will order another new cam, but none of the catalog firms
show the distributor gear as being available? I am willing to pay a fair
price. Would anyone know of a firm that is selling this part?
I do not recommend anyone trying the procedure detailed in the Bentley Factory
Service manual for adjusting "End Float / Interference" by using a .065" thick
half inch washer under the gear. The result was a disaster for me.
