car was blowing fuse. the bottom one on firewall drivers side. this fuse is
to the interior dome light, horn relay, left hand door switch and hazard
flasher. by disconnecting the purple wires at the fuse box there i found one
out of four wires attached there is shorted to ground. i hooked the three non
shorted wires up and everything is working. so what does this fourth purple
wire, that is shorted to ground go to ? it does not go to the drivers door
switch, nor the interior light, nor the horn relay nor the hazard flasher, all
of which work ! the wiring diagram shows a wire going to the dip switch but i
think it is mislabeled on the diargram because there is no purple wire on that
switch and the dip switch works too ! yes, i can just put it all back
together and drive happy, but this will drive me nuts! anyone have a clue
???
