One possibility is a modern T125R15 tire mounted on a TR3 rim. That's what
I carry all the time in my TR3 (which has TR6 wheels on the ground). Drove
70-80 miles last summer on it, at speeds of 70-75, didn't seem to bother
either it or the diff. Got it at the junkyard, $15 on a rim that I hoped
would work (but it didn't).
Lots of cars use the same bolt circle, but the compact spare I drug home
(from a Nissan Maxima I think, not certain) would not clear the calipers on
the front. TR6 calipers are a bit smaller, it might work on a TR6.
