For what it's worth: I was curious about the ebay seller of the TR4 surrey -
what could possibly drive someone to seperate these two choice items from
each other?
The eBay seller runs that nice restoration shop in photo background (in
Seattle) and was selling the surrey so the TR4 owner could get what's called
a Stayfast soft-top installed ("Stayfast is a trade name for German style
Hartz canvas. A very elegant soft top material far superior to vinyl, but
double the cost. You have a choice of inside shading, from lite to dark. They
are very nice, but I believe Stayfast for a TR4 retails around $700 but worth
it." says shop owner Mark)
and get some other work done at this shop..
The cost of keeping TR4s - whew!
