I agree with the cutting out expressed by others, 1st replace the condenser,
then the coil wire from the dist. having a internal break (T/R's are famous
for this), then remove the cover/seal on the back of the starter and with a
7/16" wrench try to turn the starter motor, if this fails pull the starter as
Eric has suggested it being hung up and not returning, trying to turn the
crank with a starter being stuck is a losing proposition, after these 3
checks, the the dist. comes out and the oil pan comes off, I'll wager on 1 &
2, then the stuck starter. "FT"
