Sometimes I get a little amused when items on ebay bid up to and above
what you can buy them for new. Example below: TR6 Monza exhaust for
$227.50 with 9 hours left to go. Last time I checked, I could get a new
Monza exhaust system for about that price or a little less on sale. You
have to pay shipping either way. Generally, unless I can get an item
cheap enough from ebay to justify the risk on my part of poor satisfaction
with the transaction (ie. getting burned potentially), I would just as
soon buy something from a known vendor that will accept a return if I'm
not satisfied. I'm not picking on this seller, he or she might be top
notch. This is just a philosophical statement about buying on ebay in
general when the price is close to what you can order from the Big 3 for
anyway.
