I don't have any experience with EFI for a TR6, but I have been curious
about it. I checked out the web site that someone posted to the list a
day or two ago that sells EFI systems for converting carbureted cars to
EFI (www.sdsefi.com). My thought was, wouldn't it be best to find a
complete original TR6 PI system, install the PI intake manifold and
linkage and air box, but then throw away the old PI metering system and
instead install one these new EFI conversions to the old TR6 PI system.
That way it has the looks of the original PI system (minus the metering
unit) but the advantages of modern electronic fuel injection. Does anyone
on the list have any thoughts or experience with this concept? Any
drawbacks to this idea?
Thanks, Greg

After several years of being away from "the List" I have yearned for the
Triumph experience again. It is good to see alot of the same names I saw
back
then. They are true enthusiasts, please forgive me!
Anyway, does anyone have any experience with EFI systems for the TR6 other
than the stock Lucas system? If so please advise me.
