A fair percentage of the cars listed on eBay never meet reserve. Of those
that are "sold", I'd guess that at least a third of the transactions are
never consummated - buyer's remorse, buyer can't raise the money, buyer
turns out to be some kid playing on the computer or seller gets a better
offer after the auction closes.
This car, while selling without reserve, is a likely candidate for buyer's
remorse when the reality of a trip to Hawaii and/or paying a lot of money
sight unseen sinks in.
And, for some reason, it's listed in the wrong category on eBay. Fortunately
for the seller, most of the folks who'd be interested in it (the ones on
this list) are now well aware of it!
