Ike, Congratulations and welcome! Fred summed it up - join your local VTR
chapter (and VTR!) and find a localish mechanic who knows what they are
talking about. It's worth the effort to get a Triumph or British car
specialist to look at the car even if they are further afield. I did this
with my Stag and my favored mechanic gave me a punch list three sheets long.
Been working through it for the last two years - haven't found anything that
wasn't accurately predicted yet.
Also have a 74 TR6 and the really good news is that they are a joy to drive,
easy to work on, and pretty much everything is available from the main US
and UK parts suppliers.
