Finally found my Moss sleeved thermostat (car's in a zillion pieces and said
pieces are uh, "stored" EVERYWHERE!). The part number stamped on it is
330-160. It looks identical to the one I found at AutoZone which has the
same PN. I went so far as to take a few measurements from the catalog in the
store and they matched those of the Moss unit. The difference of course, is
that Moss soldered on a brass sleeve - for an extra $25 or so.
Can't recall the manufacturer of the AutoZone thermostat, but they were on
the display rack on the floor (didn't have to try to get someone to go
looking through their inventory - yeah, right!).
Anyway, that's my story and I'm sticking to it!
