I remember reading in some article on the TR3 (maybe in the Moss
england catalogue?) a citation on a period comment on the rear seat.
Something like: "anyone who accepts to use you TR3 occasional seat in
a good friend"...
Any adult has to seat PERPENDICULAR to the vehicule direction on the
rear seat! I remember when I bought my first TR3, my future wife was
sitting in the back while I was driving, with the owner on the
pasenger seat. Belive it or not, the hard top was ON. I bet carring a
convict to the gulley in the manner would be considered cruel and
unusual punishment.
Now, we carry my 3-year old and my 5-year old around without any
problems on the rear seat. No seat belt yet. Put as pointed our
rightly, the metalsheet is not strong enough for the attachment
points. I will weld eylets to the frame.
