Subject: Temp Gauge Question

As the weather warms here in Michigan (I'm sure it
will eventually!) I begin to worry about my temp gauge
again...

As it warms up, the needle sort of jumps from the peg
and back again intermittently. Grounding the sender
lead causes the needle to jump all the way acorss the
dial, but it still flicks erratically - not standing
still on the high side...

Anybody out there good with temp gauges that could
suggest a cause or solution?

Thanks,
John D
