I didn't say anything about setting SAI. Getting the measurement is what I
said.
SAI- also known as king pin inclination. It is the angle of a line drawn
through the wheel spindle mounting positions for the suspension components.
As for your TR or race cars, it is designed into the suspension mounting
locations to produce both straight-line stability and steering wheel return.
Caster also affects this. Like camber, SAI is measured in the degree of
difference between the line on inclination and true verticle. Now you know
why it is important to get this measurement.
Toe-out in turns means turning angle.It is a tire wearing angle that is
measured when one wheel turns sharper than the other in a turn.The inner
front wheel turns shorter than the outer front wheel, creating a toe out
situation.The design of the steering arms in relation to the wheelbase of
the car provides this proper relationship.
In short, some things need to be found to solve problems.
