I don't have a reliable picture of a post 60,000 TR3 and the control box
orientation is different in the pictures I do have. Do the terminals on the
control box point down or toward the passenger side?
The second question may be more difficult. The stator tube on my car appears
to be broken off at the wheel end. My car has an adjustable wheel and I think
it should have a slot in the stator tube which engages with the indentations
on the horn assembly extension. Mine has no slot and is too short. Can
replacements be found? I don't find them in the Moss or TRF catalogs. I
believe I could weld on a new piece to the existing tube if I could find
matching tubing, but I don't know how long to make it. I'm also worried that I
would have trouble keeping the inside of the tube, at the weld, smooth enough
to pass the wiring. Any ideas?
