It's common to see the lower part of the door to stand out from the rear
fender, it's just a quirky feature of the TR6 from the factory. I'm not
sure that I've seen anyone explain why it is that way, but I've heard a lot
of comments from people who have had their car in a body shop and the body
man tried to 'fix' their problem. So, today, if you see a TR6 whose door
perfectly aligns with the rear fender, it probably has been in a body shop
at some point. My car, however, retains most of it's quirkiness- including
it's original owner-me.
