Remember, the clutch system in a TR6 is tough to bleed. This mainly due to
the fact that the solid line comes out of the top of the clutch master
cylinder, and promply turns downward. In my experience, and that of others
who have shared their clutch issues with me, this clutch master set-up allow
air to remain in the upper end of the solid hose, right at the top of the
bend. Bleed well, and this problem goes away.
I'm with Bernd, bleed before exploring other problems.
