Erik, What did you mill your head down to? I've just had mine shaved down to Kastner's recommendation for 10.25:1 and was wondering about the pushrod issue~ TIA, Mike '73 TR6 ____________________ Milling the HEAD should be done if the head is warped or if you want to achieve a moderate increase in compression ratio (max of about 10.5:1). Milling the head will change the rocker geometry and in extreme cases may require shorter pushrods. My car has been running at least 10:1 compression for over 60,000 miles and uses stock length (but lightweight) pushrods. -Erik /// /// triumphs@autox.team.net mailing list /// |
