Another consideration for stiffer springs, without the height increase, is
British Parts Northwest. I purchased "uprated" coil springs (which are
stiffer), but are shorter than stock height TR250 / TR6 springs. The idea
is that they are stiffer, so the reduction in height makes up for the lack
of sag in the stock springs. I did measure the difference (really I did),
and it seems to me the difference was 3/4 inch to 1 inch difference - but I
cannot remember the actual height difference.
BPNW also sells the springs and polyurethane packing pieces as a 4-spring
kit.
