Why limit yourself to the MkIV or 1500? Any particular reasoning for not
wanting one of the earlier cars? My only useable Spitfire was a MkIV, so
I've nothing against them, but I often hankered for the looks and
performance of a MkIII. There's also the advantage of a bootlid you can open
with one hand..................
