As to the re-birth of Triumph by BMW - I won't hold my breath.

I do believe one manufacturer comes close to capturing the spirit of the older
British marques and, produces a sports car much more distinctive than the BMW
Z3, Mazda Miata or any of the other 'new' convertible sports cars. But, that's
just my humble opinion.

Now, if they could reach the price point in the market that Triumph had, I'd go
buy one. At 80k, it would have to sleep a family of four and have indoor
plumbing before I could buy it.
