Hi,

I'm in the formative stages of an engine rebuild - yet again. This is for
my street driver TR6.

Anyway, the current motor that I'm using as the donor has one piston with
the skirts snapped off (not my doing!) and the bores "seem" to be round
and true - the motor apparently does not have too many miles on it.

Anyway, in an effort to save money, I'm looking for either one grade "A"
TR6 piston (std. size) or one grade "H" std bore piston. If you have any
pistons in really great shape - no scuffs on the skirts, no holes in the
crown - useable TR6 pistons of either grade, I'd like to "talk".

As luck would have it, I have 5 grade A pistons, and 5 grade H. If you
have no idea what any of this means, please don't reply.

My worst case is to purchase an new set of pistons, possibly .010 over,
but I'll know that when we run the inside mic. down the bores tomorrow AM.
I'm just trying to save the $200 or so for a new set of pistons.

Please reply directly to me, I'm seriously behind on the digest... I think
I have about 300 unread ones on one of my computers. I think I have too
many computers! Oh well.

Happy Gnu Year
